In plain words. Read and share freely with a link. Be civil in comments. If you write for us, you keep your work and give us permission to publish it. Never post client-confidential material or anything that identifies research respondents. Articles are opinion and education, not professional advice.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to Report Reimagined at reportreimagined.com, run by Swapnil Gugale (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them; by creating an account you also confirm you have read our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

Report Reimagined publishes articles, guides and showcase examples about market research and reporting. Everything is offered for general information and education. It is not professional, legal or financial advice, and examples may be simplified or anonymised. Use your own judgement before relying on anything you read here.

3. Accounts

  • You must be 18 or over and give accurate details, including an email address you control.

  • Accounts may need approval. We can decline or remove an account at our discretion.

  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

  • One person per account. Do not share it or create accounts to get around a suspension.

  • You can delete your account at any time from Account → Privacy & data.

4. Comments and other things you post

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything that:

  • is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or threatening

  • breaks a confidentiality agreement, or reveals client-confidential information or unpublished study results you are not allowed to share

  • identifies or could identify research participants or patients, or includes anyone else’s personal data without a lawful basis

  • infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights

  • is spam, advertising, affiliate links or a link farm

  • contains malware, or tries to break, overload or get around the site’s security

We may moderate, edit for formatting, hide or remove anything posted, and suspend accounts that break these rules, without notice where necessary.

5. Writing for the site

If you are invited as a contributor, these extra terms apply:

  • You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, publish, format, excerpt, translate, adapt for different screens and formats, and promote it on the site and its channels (such as social posts, feeds and newsletters).

  • Because published work becomes part of the publication, this licence continues after you delete your account; your published pieces stay online under the publication. Ask us if you want a specific piece taken down.

  • You confirm the work is yours or that you have the rights to everything in it (text, images, data and charts), and that publishing it does not break any agreement with an employer or client.

  • Submissions go through review. Editors may suggest or make edits, and may decline, schedule or unpublish any piece.

  • Unless agreed in writing, contributions are unpaid and do not create an employment or agency relationship.

6. Our content

Unless stated otherwise, the content of Report Reimagined, including text, charts, the design and the Report Reimagined name and logo, belongs to Swapnil Gugale or the people who made it, and is protected by copyright. You may:

  • read it, share links to it and quote short extracts with credit and a link back

  • use ideas and techniques from the playbooks in your own work

You may not republish whole articles, sell our content, present it as your own, or use the name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without written permission. Showcase items and embeds belong to their creators and are shown with permission or under their own licences.

7. Members-only content

Some content is only for signed-in members or for named people. It is for your own use: do not copy, forward or publish it, or share your sign-in to give others access.

8. Fair use of the site

Do not scrape or copy the site in bulk, use automated tools in a way that slows it down, probe for security weaknesses, or interfere with other people’s use. RSS feeds are provided for personal reading in feed readers. If you find a security problem, please tell us privately at the address below.

9. Links and third-party services

The site links to and embeds content from other websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data; their own terms apply.

10. Availability and changes

We provide the site as it is and may change, pause or stop any part of it, including content and features, at any time. We will try to give account holders notice of significant changes, but we do not guarantee the site will always be available or free of errors.

11. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a purpose of the content, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You agree to compensate us for claims that arise from content you post or from your breach of these terms.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the site or its users at risk. Sections 5 (the licence for published work), 6, 11 and 13 continue to apply after an account is closed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute, without taking away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved by email.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed; for significant changes we will tell account holders by email before they apply. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
